idk idk idk, teach me your way erica. liveblog your food i need to know these things. isk to me kale is lizard food although andi hates kale. she hisses at me when i try and feed it to her.Hahahaha xD
Here’s what you do. Buy some kale. Strip the leaves from the stalk, rip them into chunks, and put them in a bowl—a LOT because it shrinks when you bake it (like 4 cups of leaves at least). Pour about 2 tbs olive oil or sesame oil on that shit. Sprinkle on sesame seeds if you have them (I usually don’t but oh well) and a TOUCH of garlic salt and other seasonings. Mix it with your hands, try to coat each leaf (but they shouldn’t be soaked, just a bit oiled). Place on cookie sheet, bake at 350 for 10 minutes, push the chips around on the sheet so that the ones on the inside get a chance to get crispy, put it in for a few more minutes, keep an eye on it—don’t want to overcrispy them. Taste a few to see if at desired crispiness. BETTER THAN POPCORN. AND THEN LOOK AT WHAT YOU’RE PUTTING IN YOUR BODY:
LOOK AT THAT VITAMIN C AND A MMMM!
If you want to make your body totally explode with vitamin A add chopped carrots and peeled and chopped sweet potato and rosemary to the olive oil mix (although if you do that you need to put the carrots/sp in first and the kale in at the very last, because the carrots/sp need to bake for around 45 minutes).
DELICIOUSMUNDO
and best part: total cost of this meal/snack is less than a dollar
which is why I eat it like 3x a week lol
